How AI describes them. Not just whether it does.
A score from 0 to 100, built only from answers that carry tone evidence. AI brand sentiment, read from what ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot actually say.
What is AI brand sentiment? In plain words.
AI brand sentiment is the tone AI assistants take when they mention a business: favourable, neutral, or with caveats. Inciteful reads the tone of each mention in the stored answers and rolls it into a score from 0 to 100, shown only where there is enough evidence to support one.
Being named is not the same as being recommended warmly. This shows how your client is described, next to the rivals in the same answers.

Questions about sentiment, answered plainly.
What is AI brand sentiment?
AI brand sentiment is the tone AI assistants take when they mention a business: whether they describe it favourably, neutrally or with caveats. Inciteful reports it as a score from 0 to 100, with the share of each.
How is the sentiment score worked out?
The tone of each mention is aggregated into a score from 0 to 100. It appears only where there is tone evidence, with a floor of five observations. Below that, no score is shown.
Why does a topic show no score?
Because there is not enough evidence yet. Inciteful never fills the gap with a middle value such as 50.
Can I compare sentiment with competitors?
Yes. The head to head view scores rivals in the same answers as your client, so the comparison is like for like. A rival without tone evidence shows a dash and the reason.
What are brand facts?
The things AI states as fact about your client, such as prices, opening hours or services. They are drawn from a bounded sample of stored answers, at most 40 per pass, and the page says so.
What happens when AI gets a fact wrong?
Mark the fact as incorrect. The correction flows into the client’s AEO Boost, so putting it right becomes part of the fix list.
Which AI engines does it cover?
ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity on every plan, with Copilot included on Pro and Agency. Claude, Gemini and Google AI Mode can be added per client, and so can Copilot on Solo.
