Which questions you win, which you lose, and what to fix first.

The problem
Nobody is watching the answer.
The search result your reporting describes is not the one your client’s buyer saw.
The shortlist
Buyers ask the assistant first.
A question that used to become ten blue links now becomes one answer with a handful of names in it. Either your client is in that answer or the conversation ended before their site was ever involved.
The blind spot
No rank tracker can see it.
Position three for a keyword tells you nothing about whether ChatGPT recommended your client this morning. The answer is generated per question, per engine, and it moves — and nothing in a standard SEO stack records that it happened.
The content
The pages were written for a crawler.
Assistants quote sourced, structured, specific pages. Most client sites are none of those, which is how a directory listing or a forum thread ends up being cited as the authority on your client’s own service.
What it does
Everything it takes to get a client named.
1/3
Know where your client stands, every morning.
Your client’s real buyer questions, put to all three core engines on an automatic daily scheduler. Anything new or changed is confirmed with three samples, so one lucky answer never becomes a line in a report.
Share of voice against the competitors you chose, not a scraped list of national brands. Open any rival to see the questions they own and the sources holding them up.
Generated only from real sources: the client’s own live pages plus verified third-party authorities. Publishing blocks on an unsourced claim or a dead citation — the button refuses, which is the point.
Inciteful records the date a page went live and the date an engine first cited it. The number in between is the one that settles the argument in a client meeting, and it is the line most tools stop short of.
Recorded per page, per deployment — not estimated, not modelled.
It travels into the white-label report your client actually reads.
If nothing has been cited yet, it says so. An empty loop is a finding.
Published
the day the page went live
First cited
the day an engine first quoted it
Days between
the number that decides whether this works
Published to first cited
17days
Measured on a real deployment: the page went live, an engine quoted it seventeen days later, and the platform recorded both dates without anyone typing them in. Every published page carries its own number — including the ones still waiting.
How it works
Visibility, measured from the answer.
Set it up once. The morning run happens whether or not anyone logs in.
Scan the site
Inciteful reads the client’s real pages, pulls verifiable facts with proof URLs, and suggests the topics they can credibly win.
Pick the questions
Buyer-intent questions, generated from that scan and labelled by stage. Keep what matters, add your own, drop the rest.
Track who gets named
The tracker runs daily and automatically, working your whole question pool through every engine. New, changed or contested results are confirmed with three samples.
Close the gap
Turn the questions nobody owns into work that ships: grounded pages that pass the integrity gate, pushed to WordPress, Shopify or an export — with the evidence attached.
Publish anywhere
Publish straight into your client’s stack.
One click from the dashboard to the live page.
WordPress
A plugin pulls the cluster in as Gutenberg blocks, with the JSON-LD in the head where a crawler will actually find it. Failures and live URLs come back to the dashboard.
Shopify
Listed on the Shopify App Store. Schema is written to our own metafields and rendered server-side, so crawlers that never run JavaScript still see it — and every write is reversible.
Webflow
Export the cluster as HTML and JSON-LD and paste it in, or drive it over the API from your own build step.
Framer
Same route: structured export, or the API. The content and its schema travel together, so the markup an assistant reads is never left behind.
API v1
A versioned HTTP API over the same engine the app runs on. Keys are minted once, hashed at rest and scoped to your account.
MCP server
A full MCP tool surface, so your own agents can list workspaces, export clusters, run a site-health scan and start deployments without opening a browser.
Replit
The CLI is one zero-dependency file you curl onto your PATH — which is all a container needs to publish from a build.
Lovable
Generated sites ship fast and cite nothing. Export the cluster, or point the API at the build, and the pages arrive with their sources attached.
Every question is checked every day, on every plan, with the same sampling. What changes is how many clients you run: each client carries its own 25 daily-checked questions (Solo’s single brand gets 75), and a $25 pack deepens any client that is in a fight.

FAQ
Questions agencies ask before they start.
Straight answers about how tracking, reports and plans actually work.
What is GEO — Generative Engine Optimization?
GEO is the work of making a business the answer AI assistants actually give. When someone asks ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, and Perplexity for a recommendation, the assistant names a handful of sources — GEO is how your client becomes one of them. Inciteful does both halves: it tracks whether a client's domain is cited for the buyer-intent questions that matter, and it generates answer-shaped content built to win those citations.
How does citation tracking work?
You add the questions buyers actually ask, and Inciteful puts each one to the 3 included engines — ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, and Perplexity. Tracking runs on an automatic daily scheduler on every plan; a full question pool completes a sweep as often as the plan’s monthly engine-check allowance funds, and a lightly-used pool cycles more often than a full one. New, changed or contested questions run 3 samples per engine and are aggregated by majority. Every check records two separate signals: whether the client is named in the answer, and whether the client's domain appears in the cited sources. The free visibility report shows real data before paying. Solo and Pro include a 7-day free trial; Agency starts as a paid plan.
What counts as a mention or citation?
Presence counts a mention when the client's brand, domain name or a configured alias is named in the answer. Sources is separate: it records when the client's domain appears in the engine's cited source list, even if the brand is not named. New, changed or contested questions use 3 samples, and a result must win the majority before a change is confirmed.
What are white-label client reports?
Every client workspace has a shareable report at its own private link, carrying your agency name and brand colour. On the Pro and Agency plans the “Powered by Inciteful” badge is removed entirely, so the report reads as your own product.
Can I bring my own AI keys?
Yes, for content generation: paid plans let you add an Anthropic key so generation runs on your account, which also unlocks Opus. Tracking always runs on our provider accounts and is included in your plan, so there are no tracking keys to manage. Stored keys are encrypted at rest.
How are tracked questions shared across clients?
The pool is account-wide, not per-workspace: Solo 75, Pro 250, Agency 500. Spread it across clients however you like. Tracking runs on an automatic daily scheduler, paced by the compute budget behind the plan, so a lightly-used pool cycles more often than a full one.
Can I cancel or change plans at any time?
Yes. Billing runs on Stripe — upgrade from the pricing page, and manage or cancel from Account through the Stripe billing portal. When a trial or subscription ends, the account becomes read-only: workspaces and tracking history stay in place until you reactivate.
